The “Leão Holandês” is 35 metres long, 6.2 metres wide and has three masts, carrying approximately 510 m2 of sails when fully rigged. The ship has a 245-horsepower diesel engine and all the latest navigational and communications equipment, complying with international safety requirements.
The trips on the Leão Holandês are always exclusive; we organize any type of trip with a maximum capacity of 75 passengers. The minimum duration of a trip is 2,5 hours but our most common is the 3-hour trip, which allows for a more relaxed catering service and also to sail in front of the main touristic points in Lisbon (or Cascais, which is also possible). Regarding the trip itself, we have different route combinations, trip duration, catering menus and open bar options. The boat rental price is influenced solely on route choice and duration. The number of guests only influences the cost of the catering and drinks (cost per person). The total cost of the trip is based on boat rental + catering + open bar option. Other extras are the entertainment choices or activities (music, wine tasting, sailing workshops, etc).
The spacious, stylish lounge, which seats approximately 50 people, can be used for both social and business activities. The ample deck space is convenient for various types of events. Meals may be served on deck or below deck.
